Dating should not discriminate to any age group because love is for everyone, including seniors dating. However, we also cannot blame other people to have negative perspective on such things because they have experienced bad things in the past or of someone they know. As idealistic as it may sound, dating must be for everyone except those who are just fooling around.

Senior dating connotes dating of a single senior, they might be divorced or have lost their loved ones. But the term senior dating is not that politically correct; if we look at senior citizens out there, they are the ones who are retired from work because they are not capable to. They are the ones who have a lot of money to spare maybe because they know that their time to this world is limited. So instead of using senior dating, a more appropriate term should be mature dating;1 these are the individuals who are in a level of maturity because of what they have experienced as adults.

Mature dating constitutes responsibility since the participants lived their long lives and learned their mistakes so they have to share those ideals to the younger generations. Unfortunately, because of the power of money, seniors are not that mature thinking that they can just use their money to control other people. What is more alarming is that there are also individuals that let these seniors do what they want for cash in return.

Senior dating posts different issues and problems, but as long as most of the participants are being mature that they should be, these problems would be inexistent. On the other hand, younger generations that are attracted to these mature people should be careful and not take things that seriously such that they would be safer. In the end, whether you are doing senior dating or mature dating, what’s important is the feeling, which makes the dating process more meaningful.
